Description
What began as a hobby in the kitchen has become a thriving family business!
In the early ’70′s Bill and Linda moved to Salt Spring Island with their son Gary. “We went ‘back to the land’ and along with planting a big garden and making bread, I began to hand make soap and herbal products. My first batch was an epiphany!……if a hippie in the woods could make a better bar of soap than (insert names of big brands) then I was on to something. “
Hand made soap was an unusual and mysterious presence at craft shows and fairs so Linda signed up for a small local Christmas Craft Show, then began selling at the In the first days of the now Iconic, Salt Spring Island Saturday Market.
From humble beginnings in Linda’s kitchen in 1978 to our Artisan work shop today, our soaps and Natural body care are still crafted in small batches, hand cut and carefully wrapped everyday.Using carefully selected ingredients that are good for your skin and the planet,We, the second generation, are committed to moving natural body care into the future.
