Ladies, have you ever wondered why you can’t lose your perfectionist ways? Most likely, you had a parent or teacher who dinned it into you that perfectionism was next to godliness. This is an underlying conviction you may not realize you’re stuck with. Give yourself permission to acknowledge that this way of thinking is actually a cognitive distortion. Perfectionism is the very opposite of entrepreneurship, which is all about embracing the adventure of life.
Doing your best doesn’t mean it has to be perfect! Don’t re-write that book or spend days on that four-hour project—just finish it and let it go with your blessing.
There are many things in my life that work well, but many things just don’t and if you are like me these are the things that could be keeping you from your ultimate success and happiness. This is the year to make some big changes!
